Great Interventional Cardiologist Opportunity in CT
A leading CT physician practice for the prevention diagnosis and treatment of Cardiovascular Disease serving the community for more than 30 years. It is a fullservice cardiology treatment center featuring a staff of eight physicians a physician assistant and a nurse call center who specialize in everything from intervention to prevention and noninvasive testing.
In this role we are actively seeking a physician to take a leadership role and pursue their vision in this clinical service line.
Clinical duties will consist of direct clinical care in the office and hospital inpatient and outpatient consultation and be resource for education and guidance to interns residents and students. Seeing patients in the office local hospitals and participate in rotational call coverage.
To provide general and interventional cardiology treating a range of heart and vascular conditions including performing Cardiac catheterization PCI Coronary Stent placement TAVR.
Must have active ABIM certification in internal medicine and board certification/eligible at time of hire in invasive cardiology. Candidate should be board certified in ECHO and Nuclear (or be in process). Trained in TAVR Structural Heart Disease Fellowship preferred.
Active State of CT Medical License at time of employment. ACLS/BLS Certification.
