Job Description
Position: Interventional Radiology
Start Date: 8/4/2025
Duration: 13 Weeks
Location: Flint MI 48532
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days7:00 AM - 3:30 PM 8
Shift Notes: 7a-330p Monday-Friday call every other week 330p-7a Monday-Friday and Saturday and Sunday 24 hours both. There is certain criteria to call the techs in.
Weekend Requirements: call every other week 330p-7a Monday-Friday and Saturday and Sunday 24 hours both
On-Call Requirements: call every other week 330p-7a Monday-Friday and Saturday and Sunday 24 hours both
COVID Requirement: Covid Vaccine Required (exemptions will be reviewed)
Traveler Policy: Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 35-mile radius restriction)
Dress Code: Hospital-Provided Scrubs
GE and Phillips machines are used here.
Further Specifics:
- Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours of initial hours
- OT/Holiday/Call back Markups: 1.1x Regular rates
- Extension Discount: $1/hr on the initial extension.
Cath lab/IR experience.

- Dialysis Catheters (permacaths and quintons)
- Medport placements
- Embolization (Emergency )
- Kyphoplastys
- Nephrotomy tube insertions
- Ureteral stent insertions
- Biliary drains
- Abdominal drains
- Core biopsies
- Cholecystectomy drains
- 2 Years of IR experience - Required
- ARRT RT(R) - required
- Experience in Cath lab and Procedures - Required
- Ortho General Endo-Vascular Urgo OB Experience - Preferred
Health system-wide profile standards
- References NOT required.
- A skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required. All other professions outside of Nursing are not required but preferred.
- Michigan license verification is required for nurses. Please provide LARA and Nursys; if there is a license hit it would be in the travelers best interest to provide a write-up of what happened for the managers review.
- Physical copies of certifications are only required in the profile if listed above.
- Full-time employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
