High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of experience in substance abuse or as a patient care technician is required.
Alternatively a high school diploma or equivalent with CNA certification is required.
Alternatively an associates degree in mental health or another healthcarerelated field is required.
One year of experience in substance abuse and/or addiction is preferred.
BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required And
CPI Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 30 Days Required And
AHAFA American Heart Association First Aid Certification must be maintained 90 Days Required
What You Will Do
Therapeutic communication is key when interacting with patients collaborating with the Wellness and Recovery care team and working effectively with nursing staff all while exemplifying active listening and nonverbal communication elements.
