Job Description

As the Finance Director youll be responsible for all financial aspects of our beauty distribution company going through another year of growth. You will partner with the CEO to provide financial insights and guidance to help formulate strategies to help drive this continued growth and profitability.

You will be responsible for ensuring the financial health and stability of our organisation ensuring that as a commercially focused finance function we are effectively supporting our internal business partners in the delivery of their strategic and operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies budgets and forecasts across all entities to support the companys growth objectives.
  • Lead and support the finance management team ensuring effective people management motivation and development.
  • Provide cashflow projections monitor working capital and ensure the availability of funds for operational needs.
  • Improving ways of working to enhance agility internal controls and financial procedures.
  • Work with external stakeholders including investors banks and auditors to communicate financial performance and support fundraising efforts.
  • Assist in longterm financial planning including investment strategies mergers and acquisitions.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.

Skills and Experience

  • Experienced accountant with 10 years PQE / Qualified by experience.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Director or in a similar role within a growing SME.
  • Strong knowledge of UK financial regulations and reporting requirements with multientity experience as we currently have entities in the UK France Spain The Netherlands.
  • Be a committed team player with and effective leadership skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to network comfortably across the business.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively complex financial information to all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills is essential further languages an advantage.
  • Flexible approach with a positive attitude and high attention to detail.
  • Commercial astute with Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Handson approach with the ability and desire to delve into the detail.
