Job Title: Cardiac Anaesthesiologist

As a Cardiac Anaesthesiologist you will play a critical role in the healthcare team ensuring the safe administration of anaesthesia for patients undergoing cardiac surgeries and procedures. Your expertise in managing anaesthesia practices and monitoring patient vitals will be indispensable in enhancing surgical outcomes. This position requires a strong commitment to patient safety detailed assessment of cardiac health and close collaboration with surgeons nurses and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive care. You will be instrumental in assessing patient needs before during and after procedures making this role vital to the anesthetic management of patients with complex cardiovascular conditions. A successful Cardiac Anaesthesiologist will demonstrate exceptional technical skills a deep understanding of cardiac physiology and the ability to make rapid decisions in highpressure situations. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough preoperative assessments including reviewing medical history and performing physical examinations.
- Develop individualized anaesthesia plans based on the specific needs of cardiac patients.
- Administer anaesthetics analgesics and sedatives during cardiac procedures and surgeries.
- Monitor patients vital signs and physiological responses throughout surgical procedures.
- Manage anaesthesiarelated complications and provide immediate interventions as necessary.
- Collaborate with cardiac surgeons and surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families regarding anaesthesia protocols and postoperative care.
- Keep uptodate with advancements in cardiac anaesthesia techniques and technologies.
- Participate in presurgical meetings to discuss cases and develop treatment plans.
- Document all anaesthesia care and patient monitoring accurately in medical records.
- Lead and train junior anaesthesia staff and medical students in cardiac anaesthesia practices.
- Implement infection control measures and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct postoperative evaluations to assess patient recovery and anaesthesia effects.
- Participate in research and clinical studies related to cardiac anaesthesia where applicable.
- Contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives and enhance patient care standards.
Required Qualifications:
- MD or equivalent in Anaesthesiology from a recognized institution.
- Specialization in Cardiac Anaesthesiology preferred.
- Licensed to practice medicine in Gujarat India.
- Completion of residency training in Anaesthesiology.
- Board certification or eligibility in Anaesthesiology.
- A minimum of 35 years of experience in cardiac anaesthesia.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac physiology pharmacology and anesthesia delivery systems.
- Experience with perioperative management of cardiac patients.
- Proven track record of excellence in clinical practice and patient care.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions.
