Clinical Application Specialist - Cardiac Solutions

Job Description

Clinical Application Specialist:
Driving clinical decision support for products and solutions including sales presentations product demonstrations and educating sales teams on emerging clinical issues for CS (Cardiac Solutions) segment.

Your role:

  • Providing primary training and education to customers
  • Assisting in disseminating technical product information to customers and executing hospitals staff training also in the cath lab during clinical procedures.
  • Achieving and growing disposable utilization in the assigned territory; assisting in advancing disposable revenue and market position consistent with territory division and company goals.
  • Monitoring the use of Philips laser systems in the assigned territory by regular contact with the users in order to ensure confidence in Philips IGT-D products and systems. Assisting each step of Philips laser system utilization from the delivery to the cath-lab support.
  • Building solid customer relations by interfacing directly with customers including hospital physicians catheter laboratory personnel training/education research and business office staff.
  • Interfacing with Marketing and other internal groups to quantify needs and to provide intelligence to management on competitive products and company product enhancements.
  • Implementing business development activities on the field for increasing awareness about cardiac implantable electronic device infection. Organizing round tables/cardiac implantable electronic device infection meetings involving the different stakeholders that manage patients with infection.
  • Processing and monitoring product complaints per company procedures.


Youre the right fit if:

  • Ba/MSc degree in a biomedical engineering or clinical/science related field
  • 2 - 5 yrs experience of clinical support in a cath-lab
  • English fluency and Italian language as local languange
  • Availability to travel 70-80% of the time to support cath-lab disposable usage in the area
  • Excellent customer orientation and stakeholder management skills

Location Flexibility: This role can be based either in Naples area focusing on the Southern Italy regions or in Rome area focusing on Central Italy.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the companys main facilities generally at the customers or suppliers locations and we expect in-person activities either at customer locations or in the office at least 3 days a week.
