Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle EBusiness Suite (EBS) Financial modules and be responsible for implementing configuring and supporting financial processes. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders technical teams and endusers to ensure the successful delivery of financial solutions within Oracle EBS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze business requirements for Oracle EBS Financial modules including General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Fixed Assets (FA) Cash Management (CM) iExpense and Subledger Accounting (SLA).
- Configure and customize Oracle EBS Finance modules to meet business needs.
- Provide functional support for Oracle EBS Financials including troubleshooting issue resolution and enhancements.
- Work closely with technical teams to design and develop RICE (Reports Interfaces Conversions and Extensions) components.
- Assist in Oracle EBS upgrades patching and rollouts.
- Conduct testing including Unit Testing System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system integrity and compliance.
- Develop and maintain documentation including functional design documents configuration guides and training materials.
- Provide training and support to endusers on Oracle Financials modules.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including finance IT and external vendors to optimize Oracle EBS solutions.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP IFRS SOX and other financial regulations within Oracle EBS.
- Support monthend and yearend financial closing activities by troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
- Work on data migration validation and reconciliation activities.
- Participate in system audits and risk assessments related to financial processes.
- Stay updated with Oracle EBS new features patches and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 years of handson experience with Oracle EBS Financials modules.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
- Experience in configuring and implementing Oracle Financials modules such as GL AP AR FA CM SLA and iExpense.
- Knowledge of Oracle EBS technical components including SQL PL/SQL Workflow and Oracle Forms & Reports is a plus.
- Experience in R12.1.x or R12.2.x environments.
- Ability to create and execute test scripts for UAT and regression testing.
- Handson experience in data migration financial reporting and reconciliation processes.
- Familiarity with Oracle Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) is an advantage.
- Excellent problemsolving skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Strong communication analytical and documentation skills.
- Experience with thirdparty financial integrations such as banking interfaces tax engines and payment gateways.
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Financials is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle EBS Financials certification.
- Experience in Oracle Fusion Financials.
- Prior experience working in finance accounting or ERP consulting roles.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
- Experience with BI Publisher OTBI and FSG Reports.
