Job Objective
The Copy Lead will oversee content strategy creative direction and for multiple brands. This role requires strong leadership strategic thinking and exceptional writing skills to drive impactful and engaging content across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies aligned with business goals and brand identity.
- Collaborate with senior management clients and creative teams to define content direction.
- Create and manage content calendars to ensure timely and optimization.
Creative Leadership & Quality Control
- Lead and mentor the copywriting team to uphold high creative standards.
- Ensure content consistency in brand voice tone and messaging across all platforms.
- Review and edit copy to maintain accuracy originality and SEO best practices.
Project & Workflow Management
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously ensuring seamless and quality control.
- Establish and implement efficient workflows for collaboration with design marketing and editorial teams.
- Ensure all projects meet deadlines and client expectations.
Client Engagement & Collaboration
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients managing feedback and expectations.
- Present and pitch content strategies while refining approaches based on client input.
- Align content initiatives with broader marketing and business objectives.
Performance Optimization & Market Research
- Utilize analytics tools to measure content effectiveness and provide strategic recommendations.
- Stay updated on industry trends audience preferences and competitor activities.
- Integrate best practices and insights into content strategies to enhance engagement.
Mentorship & Team Development
- Foster a collaborative and creative environment within the copy team.
- Train and mentor junior and midlevel copywriters to enhance their skills and growth.
- Provide regular performance feedback and ensure team development opportunities.
Brand Consistency & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and enforce brand guidelines to maintain content uniformity.
- Encourage innovation and experimentation to elevate content quality.
