Location(s): Harlow (Essex) Glenrothes or Livingston (Scotland) Hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days a week on site.

Security Clearance Requirements: Baseline with eligibility to obtain SC (UK Eyes Only)

The role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team as a M365 Technology and Engagement Specialist. This new role will be responsible for ensuring that the business maximizes its use of Microsoft 365 products to achieve better business outcomes. The successful candidate will have practical experience in using and implementing Microsoft 365 tools in other organizations and will be an excellent communicator at all levels. They will support the full adoption lifecycle from planning and training to ongoing support and optimization ensuring that business needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Along with those in the M365 team create and execute a comprehensive Microsoft 365 adoption strategy tailored to the business needs.
  • Conduct stakeholder meetings workshops and analysis to gather and document requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance on best practices for using Microsoft 365 tools including Teams SharePoint OneDrive and the Office suite.
  • Design and deliver training programs and materials to enhance user proficiency and engagement.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow between Microsoft 365 applications and other systems.
  • Act as a point of expertise for business teams when looking to identify ways to implement solutions in M365.
  • Monitor and analyse usage metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous adoption.
  • Develop and maintain company standards on how Microsoft 365 tools should be used.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Microsoft 365related issues where they are linked to the best way to achieve something within a tool.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest Microsoft 365 features and updates and communicate relevant changes to the business.
  • Proactively identify risks to service and propose suitable risk treatment plans.
  • Work with business and digital technology colleagues to identify features within the E5 licence which could help replace other tools currently in use within the organisation.

Candidate requirements

Essential

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Information Technology Business Administration or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 products and their practical applications in a business environment.
  • Proven experience in implementing and supporting Microsoft 365 tools in other organizations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with both technical and business personnel.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Experience with change management and user adoption strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance best practices related to Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with user support and training.

Desirable

  • Microsoft 365 certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate).
  • Experience with product management and service delivery disciplines.
  • Experience building PowerApps.
