Job Description
Support seamless operations of the Fairmont Banff Springs by managing all incoming goods. The Receiving Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring seamless operations by managing the receipt and inspection of all incoming deliveries. This position is responsible for verifying shipment accuracy documenting deliveries and maintaining a clean and organized loading dock.
Starting Rate: $21.29 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $27.16.
Job Duties Include:
- Provide professional friendly and efficient service while maintaining strong relationships with purchasing managers vendors and delivery drivers.
- Accurately inspect document and track all incoming deliveries ensuring quality quantity and temperature requirements are met; report any issues on waybills.
- Verify all shipments have valid Purchase Orders and receive them accurately in the Birchstreet Procurement System.
- Keep the loading dock clean and organized and coordinate timely pickup of items with relevant departments.
- Handle guest and convention package delivery support Food Stores with distribution and continuously identify opportunities for process improvement.
Qualifications :
Your Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal English; great interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of MS Word Excel and email Knowledge of food and beverage products
- Previous warehouse experience an asset
- Knowledge of Birch Street (Inventory Software)
- Previous experience operating a motorized pallet jack is an asset
