POSITION TITLE: Divisional Development Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Senior Director of Philanthropic Engagement

SUPERVISION EXERCISED: None

LOCATION:New York New York

Grade/Class: Grade C NonExempt NonUnion

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Provide a broad range of administrative and project management support to the Senior Director of Philanthropic Engagement and the East Development teams most specifically Philadelphia.

Responsibilities

Primary:

  • Serve as the primary support point person for the Philadelphia Development team.
  • Support each Development team in all of the efforts that go into securing support from individual donors.
  • Assist Development teams with Salesforce database entries routinely update and correct database records.
  • Spearhead project management for the Development teams.
  • Support the coordination of requests from the Donor Experience and Philanthropic Service team especially as relates to regional or divisional events stewardship etc.
  • Secure fundraising reports and other database reports as requested by Development teams.
  • Conduct preliminary research on prospective corporate foundation and individual donors.
  • Handle administrative details associated with developmentrelated volunteer leadership committees or donor meetings.
  • Assist with the adaptation of donorfacing materials adapting communications from stewardship and other functions
  • Provide administrative support for travel arrangements meeting preparation donor meeting scheduling expense reports etc.
  • Maintain a positive professional work atmosphere by communicating in a manner that fosters teamwork with colleagues.

Secondary:

  • Support fundraising events on eventday and other event prep duties as requested.
  • Assist with gift processing specifically in Philadelphia to support the accurate and prompt recording of donations.

Qualifications

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and good oral and written presentation skills are needed.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills including the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask to complete projects on deadline.
  • Strong computer skills (including Word Excel and PowerPoint) analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Know and understand Salesforce and other online platforms.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.

Work Experience:

  • The ideal candidate has several years of development team administrative or project management experience or relevant forprofit experience.

Education:

  • A Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience required.

Work Environment:

  • ADL is a hybrid environment; this role may require 3 days in the office.
