Job Description

Position: Senior Account Executive (Italian)

Location: Rome Italy

Work model: Hybrid

Employment type: Fulltime

Remuneration: Base salary

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and qualify new client opportunities in alignment with organizational strategic priorities.
  • Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to acquire new customers within the education sector.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to key stakeholders including academic staff administrative leaders and procurement professionals.
  • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with decisionmakers at target institutions.
  • Drive the sales process to close deals and meet or exceed revenue targets collaborating with partners as needed.
  • Stay informed about industry trends competitor activities and sectorspecific funding opportunities.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of highvalue accounts ensuring strong client engagement and satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients providing excellent customer service and ongoing support.
  • Identify and capitalize on upselling and crossselling opportunities to enhance account value.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve business objectives and revenue goals.
  • Monitor client satisfaction addressing concerns promptly to maintain strong relationships.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to demonstrate value gather feedback and explore expansion opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of sales activities pipeline progress and client communications in the CRM system.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts and performance reports for management.
  • Participate in internal sales meetings training sessions and professional development activities.

      REQUIREMENTS:

      • Native/fluent in Italian (C1 and English with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
      • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales business development or account management preferably within the education or technology sectors.
      • Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth.
      • Strong knowledge of the education market including institutional structures key stakeholders and common challenges.
      • Valid drivers license and flexibility to travel as needed for client engagement.
