About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detailoriented Accountant to join the groups finance team. Reporting directly to the General Manager and Group Accountant you will be responsible for a broad range of accounting functions ensuring accurate financial records compliance and supporting the preparation of management accounts.

Key Responsibilities
Perform reconciliations across bank accounts debtors creditors payroll and other ledgers
Capture books of prime entry and generate client invoices
Liaise with banking institutions and process payment uploads
Complete and verify statutory returns including VAT PAYE UIF and SDL
Post transactions to the general ledger accurately and timely
Prepare trial balances and monthly management accounts
Assist in the preparation of yearend audit files
Requirements
Relevant qualification and/or strong prior experience in an accounting role
Excellent command of English with Afrikaans proficiency.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels
Ability to work independently take initiative and function well within a team
Proficiency in the following systems would be highly advantageous:
