About the Role:

We are searching for an IT Support Analyst (Level 2) to join our awardwinning Sime Industrial branch in Archerfield QLD in a permanent fulltime position.

Reporting to the Desktop Support Team Lead the IT Support Analysts primary responsibility will be to provide quality IT Desktop support services on a daily basis for all Sime Industrial users in conjunction with other IT functions which include providing Application support Ticket Management and administration activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite and remote technical support for hardware software and network issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently escalating to higherlevel support when necessary.
  • Maintain and support desktop laptop printers and mobile devices ensuring smooth operations for all endusers.
  • Manage and resolve helpdesk tickets in a timely manner ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with the installation configuration and ongoing usability of system hardware and software.
  • Provide remote and onsite technical assistance and training to endusers as required.
  • Document processes issues and solutions clearly and accurately for future reference.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and other departments to implement new technologies and system improvements.

About You:

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following knowledge skills and attributes:

  • Degree or certification in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
  • Enduser hardware including laptops desktops mobile devices Printers meeting rooms configuration setup and troubleshooting experience.
  • Experience with Active Directory Office 365 Intune Autopilot.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide clear and supportive assistance to nontechnical users.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Australian working rights and a valid drivers license.
