Responsibilities
As a Consumer Lending Specialist located at our St. Clair branch on St. Clair Avenue in Cleveland your day is spent helping our members with their lending needs through phone and digital channels. You thrive in a variable paced environment. As one of the voices of our credit union you make sure that your warm smile and helpful attitude comes through in every phone and digital interaction.
Youll assist members with:
- Helping our members through the loan process from taking the application to communicating with our underwriters to discussing the results and next steps with the members once the lending decision is made
- Education on loan products and services that we offer including personal loans auto and recreational vehicle loans and home equity loans
- Uncovering needs and crossselling financial products
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CONSUMER LENDING SPECIALIST
- Two years or more of similar or related experience
- Proficiency with technology including computers tablets and general office equipment
- Fantastic customer service skills
- Dependable transportation to the St. Clair branch
- Previous sales experience is preferred

WORK SCHEDULE
This position typically works Monday Saturday with a rotating day off each week. The hours of operation for this position are 7:45am to 4:30pm Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Friday 7:45am to 6:15pm on Thursday and 8:15am to 12:45pm on Saturday.
