Description

The Graduate Research Appointment (GRA) is a postbaccalaureate appointment for participants with an interest in biomedical research. The primary purpose is to provide a postbaccalaureate laboratory research experience that applies skills in science technology engineering or math to biomedical research including basic science or translational research. GRA participants will have the opportunity to participate in selected graduate classes and seminars while working in this role.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position is not eligible for F1 OPT STEM extension.

As a hybrid role this is a work arrangement that supports a combination of offsite (remote) and onsite work according to business needs. Onsite expectations are determined by the supervisor and will be discussed during the interview.



Qualifications

Bachelors degree with a strong background in science technology engineering or math. Authorization to work and remain in the United States without necessity for Mayo Clinic sponsorship now or in the future (for example be a U.S. citizen national or permanent resident refugee or asylee.

Students that do not meet these criteria do not qualify.
