Job Description

The lab does research involving 3D cell culture molecular biology optical microscopy and mouse cancer models. Our lab is interested in tissue structure and answering questions such as: How do tissues form during development How do these structures break down during aging and cancer How can we engineer tissues for regenerative medicine and disease modeling Please see our lab website for more details: position provides support to the research investigating early oncogenic events in the mammary gland by assisting and carrying out projects involving mouse husbandry optical microscopy single cell analysis 3D cell culture and organoid maintenance. Also provides support for lab maintenance organization and ordering. This position is 50% research and 50% general lab maintenance and management.

This is a parttime position with an end date 3 months from the start date.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.


The salary range for this position is $30.89 $49.68 (Hourly Rate).
