Join our new team of Manufacturing Supplier Quality Engineers in McKinney Tx solving supplied material issues impacting our factories. This high visibility and onsite position will focus on resolution of any nonconformance in supplied material ensuring root cause and corrective actions are completed. You will be a key player working with leaders in Operations Quality Program Management and Engineering to solve problems on our nations most advanced defense systems.
What You Will Do
Utilize analytical capabilities and communications skills to lead rapid resolution of supplier caused issues impacting the factory working with other quality functions and crossfunctional teams.
Represent supplier quality as the onsite interface to Raytheon factories supporting factory tier corrective action board FRACAS (Failure Review And Corrective Action System) and cost of poorquality meetings.
Analyze supplied material nonconformance data and develop action plans to address top and systemic drivers.
Investigate issues with supplied material ensuring robust rootcause analysis and corrective solutions are fully implemented
Identify and support continuous product / process improvements using statistical / analytical tools such as APQP and lean manufacturing methodologies
Drive continuous improvement and leverage lessons learned from supplied material nonconformances to reduce future risk across the supply chain
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in related Quality Operations Engineering or related technical discipline
Experience using Aerospace or commercial equivalent Preventative tools APQP PPAP SPC FMEA etc.
Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action processes
Experience with hardware inspection techniques and interpreting engineering drawings
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Proven success in building and maintaining relationships with suppliers customers and internal teams
Six Sigma Lean and / or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification (CQE CQM/OE CSQE CQA CRE etc.)
Experience in DoD product and process oversight including requirements build integration test and delivery
High computer proficiency including skills working with SAP/ PRISM and Microsoft Tools (Excel PowerPoint Word)

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
