Overview
A Hospital in the North East is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Radiology Consultant specialised in Breast Imaging to join. As a Breast Radiology Consultant you will be responsible for providing exceptional medical care and diagnostic expertise with a focus on breast health and imaging.
Salary Range
Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret breast imaging studies including mammography ultrasound MRI and other modalities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide accurate and timely diagnosis of breast conditions.
- Utilise advanced technology and techniques to guide biopsies and treatments.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of breast imaging protocols and procedures.
- Educate and communicate effectively with patients colleagues and staff to ensure a supportive and informed healthcare environment.
Qualifications
- Medical degree and board certification in Radiology.
- Fellowship training or extensive experience in Breast Imaging.
- Expertise in interpreting breast imaging studies and performing imageguided procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare setting.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of advances in breast imaging and healthcare technology.
Daytoday
As a Radiology Consultant specialising in Breast Imaging at a Hospital in the North East your daytoday activities will include interpreting breast imaging studies consulting with patients and colleagues conducting imageguided procedures and contributing to the development of breast imaging protocols. You will also participate in multidisciplinary meetings and stay current with the latest advancements in breast healthcare and radiology.
