Our job sites are located throughout HRM andsurrounding areas working within residential new construction and commercialunits. What we would like you to bring to the table:
Manage electrical projects assessing theproject requirements materials timelines and goals.
Work with the electrical team and generalcontractor to meet deadlines assign workload based on level of experience.
Complying strictly with Canadian Electrical Codeand local building regulations.
Organize and prioritize tasks and to ensurerequired resources are available.
Communicate progress of projects with the teamand management.
Experience with budgets and allotted hours forjobs and various reporting.
Ensure all workers receive the proper trainingsupport job training for apprentices and facilitate mentoring.
Know understand and participate insafety/incident investigations. Review safety/incident investigations andprovide crews with adequate supervision to accomplish tasks in a safe effectivemanner.
Plan assemble install repair test andmaintain electrical fixtures and systems that provide heat light power orcontrol at commercial sites.
Effectively interpret blueprints and schematics isessential to ensure safety and completeness within the project.
Inspect systems and components to identifyhazards or defects to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Enforce and maintain clean site facilities andequipment and comply with all safety standards.
Collaborate with other team members andcontractors to complete projects effectively and efficiently.
Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Ability to work in a physical fastpaced environment.
Journeymen Electrician License or equivalent experienceand certifications.
Proven experience as an Electrician inresidential and commercial settings.
Comply with all safety regulations and meetsafety training requirements to maintain a successful safety record
Willingness to travel to all job sites
Ability to lift heavy objects and work invarious weather conditions.
Must have a strong workethic and be reliable.
Must have a valid drivers license.
This role may undergo a Government of Canada Security Clearance check.
