This position is responsible for leading and optimizing the onboarding and offboarding processes across the APAC region ensuring seamless and efficient experiences for employees. The Regional Process Owner will work closely with the APAC People Services Leader for Onboarding/Offboarding to align regional practices and will partner with the Global Process Owner Onboarding/Offboarding to align global standards to drive operational excellence across the region.

Job Responsibilities

Develop document and continuously improve the global onboarding and offboarding processes across APAC region to ensure efficiency compliance and an excellent employee experience. Ensure the processes are standardized scalable and aligned with global HR policies and regional legal requirements.

Ensure compliance with data privacy (GDPR CCPA etc.) labor laws and immigration policies in all onboarding and offboarding activities.

Work closely with local Infrastructure Team Asset Management operations to ensure Onboarding and Offboarding readiness to include to track and manage company assets assigned to employees during onboarding and properly reclaimed during offboarding. Partner with US Onboarding and Offboarding leaders to ensure alignment of processes practices and standards between the APAC region and the US Hub. Provide leadership and oversight of the India Hub Onboarding and Offboarding teams ensuring alignment with regional and global processes driving operational excellence and supporting continuous improvement initiatives for a seamless employee experience. Support the coordination of crossregional initiatives share best practices and ensure that both APAC and US teams maintain high service standards and process efficiency. Ensure that onboarding and offboarding processes comply with all regional employment laws regulations and corporate policies.

Monitor KPIs and SLAs through reporting and analytics driving continuous improvement and timely resolution of performance gaps. Support crossregional initiatives share best practices and maintain high service standards in collaboration with global teams. Implement automation and technologydriven solutions to streamline the onboarding and exit experience. Serve as the process owner and escalation point for any issues related to onboarding and offboarding. Implement Net Promoter score exit surveys and offboarding interviews to gain insights and improve employee retention strategies. Lead change management initiatives for onboarding and offboarding process improvements ensuring smooth adoption by global teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field; HR certification (e.g. SHRM CIPD) preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in HR operations with a focus on onboarding and offboarding in the APAC region.
  • Strong understanding of APAC labor laws and regional HR practices across diverse countries.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage crossfunctional teams in a complex fastpaced and multicountry environment.
  • Previous experience monitoring KPIs and SLAs through detailed reporting and data analytics to ensure onboarding and offboarding operations meet customer expectations and adhere to process standards driving continuous improvement and timely resolution of performance gaps.
  • Previous experience w/ Excel PowerBI Tableau and or any other data visualization tool preferred
