Edelman Brussels is seeking an Account Director to lead integrated corporate and policy communications across the EU landscape. This is a strategic role for a trusted advisor who thrives at the intersection of business media and policy and is ready to shape conversations that matter.
As part of Edelmans Corporate & Policy Communications team youll collaborate across borders and disciplines working with leading multinationals trade associations and institutions on some of todays most complex and consequential challenges. Youll play a key role in mentoring teams growing client relationships and driving highimpact campaigns across reputation regulation and stakeholder engagement.
What youll do:
- Lead strategic accounts and integrated communications programmes across corporate reputation EU policy and media relations
- Serve as a senior client partner providing proactive counsel on risks opportunities and positioning
- Oversee multimarket teams (Brussels London and beyond) to deliver consistent highquality results
- Develop and drive new business efforts from pitches to relationship expansion
- Inspire and support team development through coaching and collaboration
- Ensure excellence in programme delivery innovation and client service
Who you are:
- A senior communications professional with 710 years of experience in agency consultancy or inhouse settings
- A strong understanding of EU institutions policy dynamics and media landscape
- Proven experience in leading highprofile integrated communications programmes
- A natural relationship builder and strategic thinker with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- A team leader who thrives in a fastpaced international and collaborative environment
- Proficiency in French or Dutch is a strong asset
- Comfortable using digital tools monitoring platforms and evolving communication channels
