Job Description

Are you looking for a new opportunity to thrive within a dynamic team and achieve your goals. We are looking for a Sales Advisor who understands the key to succeeding in sales is through building great client relationships and coming up with solutions that work. The right candidate must practice the art of communication in their every day personal lives ability to foster new and old relationships and know the importance of continuous improvement. This role will be compensated outside of base salary on commission of sales.

What you will bedoing:

  • Answer and respond to all client inquiries fornew projects.
  • Visit sites with clients and field electricians to ensure customer satisfaction and estimate accuracy.
  • Build relationships with new clientsutilizing cold calling techniques.
  • Be available to attend marketing/promotionalevents within the sector to maintain relationships with current customers andbuild client base.
  • Present quoted/scope of work provided by field electricians to clients for considerations.
  • Maintain relationships with key clients whilehandling followups and surveys.
  • Once project have been approved provide scopeof work to prepurchasing & inventory manager for takeoff and materialordering.
  • Advise Project Coordinator of requirement forlift rental and/or special travel requirements.
  • Assist Project Coordinator and field electrician with service and small project scheduling.
  • Ensure Invoicing is completed and send toclient.
  • Make any adjustments for effectivecommunication to team for project alignments.
  • Ensure good communication and projectclose out with the client and address any concerns the team may have toeffectively perform the job.
  • Advise client of change orders orT&M and additional scope of job that may affect their billing.
  • Hand off theproject details to Project Coordinator when clients have agreed to theestimate/proposal for scheduling.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Company.

What do you need to succeed

  • Postsecondary education in business or marketing is considered an asset.
  • Minimum three years of business to consumer sales with proven track record of success.
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Experience with Quickbooks Online is considered an asset.
  • Experience within the Electrical industry is considered an asset but not required.
