Job Description

St Patricks College is a Catholic day and boarding school for boys in Year 7 to 12 in the Edmund Rice tradition. Founded in 1893 it is a beautifully resourced school and is known for its energy and sense of community.

St Patricks College is seeking a dedicated and caring Boarding Head of House (families welcome) to join our team. This key role involves ensuring the safety welfare and academic progress of all boarders within a dynamic boarding community.

Under the leadership of the Director of Boarding you will help maintain a structured and supportive environment where students can excel. Duties include afterhours supervision overseeing student attendance and ensuring the safety and conduct of boarders during meals meetings and events.

This role is ideal for those with a passion for pastoral care a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to supporting students growth both academically and personally.

Step 2: Panel Interview

  • St Patricks College will select applicants who will progress to panel interview stage
  • Panel interview will be held at St Patricks College

Step 3: Reference Checking

  • Following panel interview preferred candidates will be referenced checked

Step 4: Appointment

  • Interviewed applicants to be notified of outcome by phone and email
