English and Drama Teacher Outstanding School London
An Outstanding Ofstedrated secondary school in London seeks a versatile and enthusiastic educator to join their team as an English and Drama Teacher. This is a unique fulltime permanent opportunity to teach across two highly complementary subjects fostering creativity communication and a love of language and performance within a vibrant school community.
Responsibilities:
The successful English and Drama Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons in both subjects to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students (with potential for Key Stage 5). You will cultivate students reading writing speaking acting and performance skills inspiring a passion for literature and theatre. Assessing student progress providing constructive feedback and contributing to departmental development are key duties for this English and Drama Teacher role.
Requirements:
Applicants must be a qualified teacher (QTS) with a specialism in either English or Drama (or both) and a relevant degree. Proven experience teaching both English and Drama at the secondary level is essential. Strong subject knowledge across both curricula excellent communication skills and effective classroom management are required. We are looking for an inspiring English and Drama Teacher.
