Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum.
  • Prepare pupils for SATs ensuring they feel confident and wellsupported.
  • Assess and track student progress providing constructive feedback to drive achievement.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all abilities.
  • Work closely with colleagues to deliver a consistent and highquality learning experience.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupil progress and wellbeing.
  • Participate in staff meetings CPD opportunities and school events.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Year 6 and a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Knowledge of SATs preparation and effective assessment strategies.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passion for education and helping pupils reach their full potential.
  • A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative and supportive school environment.
