A highachieving and inclusive primary school in Kensington is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Year 2 Teacher to join its dedicated team on a fulltime permanent basis from September 2025. The school is looking for a passionate and skilled Year 2 teacher to lead a class of enthusiastic learners through a crucial year of academic and personal growth. You will be responsible for preparing pupils for the end of Key Stage 1 assessments (SATs) planning engaging lessons and ensuring that every child is supported to reach their full potential.
Youll work alongside a parallel Year 2 teacher and be supported by a fulltime teaching assistant. Shared planning time and collaborative professional development ensure you wont be working in isolation.
A qualified teacher with QTS
Experience teaching Key Stage 1 ideally with a solid understanding of the Year 2 curriculum and assessment frameworks
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
A reflective practitioner who is eager to grow professionally
A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for supporting childrens academic and emotional development
