Your Opportunity:
The Global Retail Standards & Compliance Lead is responsible for ensuring that all retail operations across the business comply with internal policies legal and regulatory requirements and industry best practices. This includes driving global consistency in operational execution assessing current practices and mitigating compliancerelated risks across the retail network.
The role promotes a culture of fairness integrity and accountability while safeguarding the business through robust compliance frameworks and proactive risk mitigation strategies.
Compliance Strategy Governance & Risk Mitigation: Develop and manage a global compliance framework that supports consistent and compliant retail operations. Drive consistency and compliance across regions embedding best practices in retail operational policies and procedures including people and employment related policies and practices
Policy Implementation & Oversight: Develop implement and maintain comprehensive retail policies and procedures aligned with operational best practice business goals and compliance standards. Lead the creation rollout and governance of operational policies ensuring alignment with legal standards and operational feasibility across multiple countries.
Auditing & Risk Mitigation: Design and lead quarterly audits of retail operational policy and procedure execution including people and employment related policies and practices across the global retail network.
Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor compliance with internal policies labour laws and relevant regulatory frameworks within all countries markets globally. Ensure storelevel and fieldlevel activities are aligned with company expectations and legal obligations particularly regarding work rule compliance breaks and rostering. Develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor compliance trends and identify highrisk areas.
Communication Training & Change Management: Lead communication of compliance updates policy changes and audit outcomes across the business. Support Learning & Development teams to create engaging easytounderstand training modules on key compliance topics including work rules rostering timekeeping and policy adherence.
