Job Description
We are inviting applications for the position of Research Associate Wireless Communication with a strong research background in wireless systems and a PhD in a relevant domain. The selected candidate will work on advanced wireless technologies such as 5G/6G MIMO IoT and nextgeneration communication systems. The role demands a combination of theoretical expertise and handson experience with wireless communication tools and platforms.
- Conduct highquality research in areas including but not limited to 5G/6G networks MIMO systems and spectrum optimization.
- Develop and simulate wireless systems using MATLAB NS3 or equivalent platforms.
- Contribute to writing research proposals and project reports.
- Publish findings in peerreviewed journals and present at conferences.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for joint research and development activities.
- Support the development of intellectual property (patents technical disclosures).
- PhD in Wireless Communication Electronics & Telecommunication Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Strong publication record in reputed journals (IEEE Elsevier Springer etc..
- Expertise in tools like MATLAB NS3 Simulink or SDR platforms (e.g. USRP GNU Radio).
- Proficiency in Python C or similar programming languages.
- Knowledge of advanced wireless protocols channel coding modulation techniques and spectrum management.
- Exposure to ML/AI applications in wireless networks is a plus.
- Experience in proposal drafting for agencies like DST SERB or international funding bodies.
