Job Description

MasterTech is on the search for Heavy Equipment Technicians in the Grand Rapids MI area. We have both Shop and Field Service openings available.

The successful Diesel Mechanics will be responsible for the maintenance diagnostics and repair of a diverse line of heavy equipment (construction forestry agricultural aerial mining etc. in a shop setting or throughout the Greater Grand Rapids area.

Field Service Trucks will be taken home for all Field Service openings.

Compensation:

$30.00 $38.00/hour
Comprehensive benefits plan including medical dental vision short & longterm disability 100 employer paid) etc.

PTO
Service truck gas card and company cell phone for field service openings.

Schedule:

Day shift Monday to Friday. 7AM start time.

Key Qualifications:

2 or more years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
Completion of a Diesel Technology program preferred not required.
Understanding of mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems.
Experience using diagnostic software (Cummins InSite DDDL JPro CAT ET Service Advisor etc.
Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
valid drivers license CDL preferred not required.
