Mechanical Design Engineer
Newtownards
Salary up to 45000 depending on experience
An excellent opportunity for a Design Engineer to join a locally owned established manufacturing company. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you design and develop new products working closely with Project Managers

The Role
- Designing bespoke machinery and fabrications to customers spec.
- Site visits to determine specifications with customers.
- Ensuring designs promote ease of manufacturing and support manufacturing process.
- Producing detailed production drawings.
- Work with the production team to resolve issues with drawings.
- Organise and maintain design records.
The Person
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- 3 years experience as a Design Engineer
- Proficient in SolidWorks
- Full driving license
