Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing exceptional client service and support within the commercial insurance industry. This role will involve managing a portfolio of commercial clients cultivating strong relationships and ensuring that their insurance needs are met.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial clients providing outstanding customer service and support
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their insurance needs and providing appropriate solutions
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes negotiate terms and prepare comprehensive insurance proposals for clients
  • Review and analyze insurance policies to ensure accuracy and completeness making recommendations for necessary adjustments
  • Assist clients with claims processing and provide guidance throughout the claims resolution process
  • Stay informed about industry trends changes in regulations and new insurance products to provide clients with uptodate information and advice
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for account rounding and crossselling of additional insurance products
  • Ensure compliance with all insurance regulations and company policies

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the commercial insurance industry
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products coverages and underwriting processes
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to a positive work culture
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) License
