Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Weighbridge & Customer Assistant to join our team based at the Green Island transfer station and landfill in Dunedin. This role involves working from Wednesday to Saturday.
You will be the first point of contact for customers entering the site and the last to see them on their way. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Directing customers to the appropriate areas on site
- Accurate data entry at the weighbridge
- Performing general administrative duties
- Handling EFTPOS account and cash transactions as well as operating an electronic cash register
This is a customerfacing role in a busy environment so the ability to remain calm under pressure and multitask effectively is essential. The weighbridge is selfsufficient with attached ablution and canteen facilities.
