Job Description
Own the Transaction Flow. Manage the Team. Build the Future.
We are looking for a Director of M&A Corporate Development. A proven numerate leader who can both source and scale Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) prospects from lead to offers stage. Youll manage a highperforming business development team of up to fifteen professionals while driving acquisition pipelines across multiple vertical markets. This is a highimpact highautonomy role for a true PlayerCoach working with senior leadership.
What Youll Do:
- Manage mentor and scale a team of Corporate Business Development Professionals.
- Source build and nurture relationships with software company decisionmakers.
- Drive M&A opportunities from origination to offer and handoff to our M&A team.
- Maintain your own patch of prospective Sellers
- Optimize our CRM and sourcing operations (Salesforcedriven).
- Deepen relationships with our current network of acquisition prospects.
- Represent Harris investment philosophy
- Some travel required (up to 1025
What You Bring:
- 3 years in M&A sourcing corporate development technology sales banking or investing experience
- Leadership: Youve built and managed winning teams.
- Relentless relationship skills you know how to open doors and keep them open.
- Business acumen: You get financials growth levers and what makes a software company valuable.
- Hustle: You move fast prioritize smart and own your outcomes.
- Bachelors degree required; MBA or startup experience is a plus.
