Job Description

Operations is at the heart of what we do delivering millions of packages each day and fulfilling customer orders from all over the world. Amazon Flex is at the forefront of delivery operations owning a significant piece of Amazons Last Mile delivery strategy at current & into the future. The Flex model utilizes independent contractors to help fulfill Ultrafast customer deliveries including Amazon Grocery Whole Foods same day orders and beyond. Our Finance team works closely with Tech Product & Program Managers to track performance reporting and support analysis for optimization of pricing labor planning and routing which help improve customer quality and reduce costs.
As a Finance Manager on the WW Flex FP&A Pricing and Compliance team you will work closely with business partners on key initiatives upholding pricing and compliance tenets throughout the Flex business.
This role requires a selfstarter with strong business modeling skills a keen attention to detail and good track record of influencing business partners. This role has regular interaction with senior leadership and stakeholders across Amazon and requires strong verbal and written communication skills. The candidate will need to be capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy and hence needs to demonstrate a high degree of comfort with ambiguity while insisting on the highest standards.
Key job responsibilities
Use solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models interpret data draw conclusions and make recommendations that deliver results drive improvements and influence leaders throughout Amazon. These decisions can have global impact.
Educate business partners on financial and nonfinancial tradeoffs and provide guidance and financial analysis for new projects and initiatives. You make thoughtful judgement calls in ambiguous environments where data may be scarce or difficult to procure.
Identify opportunities to resolve defects proactively. Improve scale or simplify finance tools across teams and organizations.

A typical day in this role provides an opportunity to innovate by building creative socially responsible last mile logistics solutions through largescale data driven decision making. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following abilities: they influence business owners support thoughtful decisionmaking and adapt to a rapidlyevolving environment. They collaborate with senior leaders and various business units across Amazon. You bring excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bachelors degree in finance accounting business economics or a related analytical field (e.g. engineering math computer science)
5 years of finance experience or Masters degree and 3 years of finance experience
MBA and/or Professional certification (CIMA ACCA ACA or CPA)
Advanced Excel skills
Advanced use of SQL (data mining and business intelligence)
Ability to prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fastpaced dynamic evergrowing and often ambiguous environment; effective multitasking skills are vital

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
