What you will do
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to run improve and create Calypso measurement plans for firstpiece inprocess and completed parts on Zeiss CMMs.
- Follow established SOPs for manual inspections for firstpiece inprocess and completed parts.
- Update and write new measurement SOPs for R&D Machine Shops metrology lab.
- Review inspection data to ensure accuracy consistency and alignment with engineering drawings.
- Use inspection results to identify possible machining errors and collaborate with machinists to troubleshoot and improve manufacturing processes.
- Use and suggest possible improvements to custom 3Dprinted CMM fixtures designed to ensure precision and repeatability.
- Lead initiatives to streamline inspection workflows and eliminate nonvalueadded processes aligning with organizational efficiency goals.
- Organize and maintain CMM calibration schedule.
- Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety product quality and compliance with the Strykers Quality Manual and its governing regulations.
- Follow all safety rules report unsafe conditions or incidents and consistently use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Collaborate with the team to build and maintain a safe organized work environment ensuring cleanliness and adherence to housekeeping standards.
Required
- 5 years of experience
- 1 years of manufacturing environment experience within the 5 required years
- High School Diploma orequivalent (GED)
- Working experience with the use of standard inspection equipment such as calipers micrometers pin gauges gauge blocks etc.
- Proficiency with Zeiss Calypso software
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
Preferred
- Working knowledge of ASME Y14.51994 Y14.52009 or Y14.52018
- Hold Technologistlevel Certification for ASME Y14.5
- Familiarity with Creo SolidWorks or similar CAD software
- General knowledge of 3D printing processes
- Knowledge of Zeiss PiWeb a plus
$41.50 $58.35 per hour plus bonus eligible minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills experience and other relevant factors.
