COMMERCIAL DRYWALL ESTIMATOR CHARLOTTE NC
Position Overview:
The Commercial Drywall Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive bids for commercial drywall projects while maintaining the highest standards of precision and attention to detail. This role offers an opportunity to work with a respected contractor on projects exceeding $1MM in value.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed takeoffs using OnScreen Takeoff software
Calculate material quantities and labor costs for commercial drywall projects
Prepare comprehensive bid proposals
Review architectural drawings and specifications
Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers
Participate in scope review meetings
Support project handoff to operations team
Maintain relationships with general contractors and vendors
Assist in value engineering opportunities

3 years of commercial drywall estimating experience
Proficiency in OnScreen Takeoff and Quickbid software
Strong understanding of metal stud framing and drywall systems
Experience with projects valued at $1MM
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
Strong communication and organizational abilities
