Job Summary
We are searching for experienced and reliable ironworkers for various structural and miscellaneous steel erection projects in the Grand Junction Ridgway Crested Butte Gunnison Canon City and Edwards CO areas as well as Shiprock NM. Various locations throughout Western Slope Colorado additionally.
Responsibilities
- Assist General Foreman in daily construction activities to ensure:
- Safety
- Quality
- Shedule
- Profitability
- Responsible for completing tasks related to steel erection
- Coordinate with General Foreman on a daily basis
- Able to work with others to complete tasks
- Able to work out of town from week to week
- Ability to understand and execute drawings
Qualifications
- Be able to pass a background check to work on certain projects
- Must have experience reading blueprints
- 57 years experience in trade
- Qualified Rigger/Signalman
- Certified welder 3G & 4G SMAW)
- Certified Forklift & Lift Operator
- SelfStarter highly motivated with leadership skills
- Knowledgeable with all safety and PPE equipment for the purpose intended
- Reliable transportation to and from projects
- Personal bank account for direct deposits
- Drivers license or acceptable form of identification
Flexible work from home options available.
Compensation: $25.00 $29.00 per hour
