Job Description

Job Summary

Prepares maintains and reconciles accounts payable information in the Accounts Payable system. Works with vendors and internal customers to resolve problems and special requests.

Essential Functions

  • Prepares enters maintains and reconciles data in the accounts payable system.
  • Works with vendors and all levels of internal staff to resolve invoice and coding problems pay invoices within the organizations terms and handle special requests as needed.
  • Maintains files in an organized manner to ensure invoice documentation is maintained (includes optical scanning).
  • Adapts to changing internal and external environment pertaining to accounts payable.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships within the organization.
  • Completes required continuous training and education including department specific requirements.
  • Performs daily activities in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Demonstrates teamwork and integrity in all workrelated activities.

Qualifications

  • Required High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of relevant experience business office accounts payable accounting finance health plan administration and/or customer service experience Required
