As a Qantas Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) you will be responsible for performing Aircraft Maintenance and rectification as per manufacturers and company specification to a high standard. You will be working with a range of specialist teams enabling you to provide excellent engineering standards on a solid foundation of safety quality reliability and service.
Youll have
- Completed Certificate IV Aeroskills qualification (Mechanical or Avionics)
- Previous experience in a Line Maintenance environment (desirable)
- Relevant Aircraft Maintenance (Mechanical Structures or Avionics) trade experience on B737800 and/or A330
- Experience working on B787 and A380 will be desirable
- Completed all documentation and reporting requirements to a high standard
- Taken ownership and driven outcomes to meet business requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work safety and adhering to all safety and compliance procedures
- Thorough knowledge and understanding Aircraft Maintenance procedures
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- Commitment to being customer focused with the flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required
- Highly developed attention to detail
- Australian Drivers licence
- Successfully pass a PreEmployment Medical
