Job Description
We areaccepting applications fora Vice Principal for theschool year.
The Vice Principal of Grades 46 is a key member of the Leadership Team at the Elementary Campus. As a member of the team the Vice Principal works collaboratively to set schoolwide goals develop action plans for implementation and reflect on progress all while staying true to the mission of School Lane. This person oversees all instruction climate and community engagement for grades 4 5 and 6 on a day to day basis and is supervised directly by the principal.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Elementary or Secondary Education
- Minimum of five years teaching experience at middle school level
- Pennsylvania Department of Education Certification Elementary Principal or Principal PK12
- Understanding and commitment to inclusive learning
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Strong research planning and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all staff parents and community organizations
- Ability to positively interact with students to encourage development
- Excellent attention to detail and follow through
- Desire and ability to engage in continuing education and professional development
- Experience with MS Office Google Docs
