As a Senior Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking youare an integral part of a team that works to develop highquality architecture solutions for various software applications and platforms products. You drive significant business impact and help shape the target state architecture through your capabilities in multiple architecture domains.
Job responsibilities
- Represents a product family of technical governance bodies
- Provides feedback and proposes improvements to architecture governance practices
- Guides evaluation of current technology and leads evaluation of new technologies using existing standards and frameworks
- Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams contractors and vendors
- Develops secure and highquality production code and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Drives decisions that influence product design application functionality and technical operations and processes
- Serves as a functionwide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
- Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks tools and practices of the SoftwareDevelopment Life Cycle
- Influences peers and project decisionmakers to consider the use and application of leadingedge technologies
- Adds to team culture of diversity equity inclusion and respect
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification onsoftware engineeringconcepts and 5 years applied experience
- Provensolution/product/enterprise architectureexperience
- Handson engineering experience with a minimum of three to five years of work experience in the private/public cloud in following areas:Front end Application technology Middleware technology Object Oriented technologies Event based architecture Service oriented architecture database and Internet technologies.
- Experience withcloud native application architectureleveragingContainers Micro services APIs and other relevant cloud services
- Advanced in one or more programming language(s) applications and architecture. (e.g. Java Python etc.
- Advanced knowledge of software architecture applications and technical processes with considerable indepth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g. cloud artificial intelligence machine learning mobile etc.
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
- Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture
- Very Good understanding of AWS Well Architected Frameworks in cloud production environments and understand how to use that knowledge to guide migration teams moving to the cloud.
- ExpertLevel analytical skills in architecture methods and design concepts.
- Competent at: Tradeoff Analysis Roadmaps Architecture Artifacts
