Schedule:
Overnight shifts Days of the week vary based on business needs.
Expected Starting Wage: $24$26 per hour for armed shifts based on experience.
What You Will be Doing:
The Security Officer will roam and patrol job sites to help deter theft vandalism or other criminal activities. Our company vehicles are equipped with cameras and monitoring technology; this ensures safe driving practices regular location checks compliance with company policies and accurate reporting for clients.
The position includes the following duties:
- Actively conducting frequent checks and patrols throughout shifts.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients colleagues and patrons.
- Deescalate and/or escort off the premises unruly patrons or unauthorized personnel.
- Monitor and control access at entrances/exits and vehicle gates.
- Identify document and report any unusual activity violations accidents physical property damage theft or disturbances on site.
- Prepare reports in electronic format.
- Communicate effectively with law enforcement fire departments and emergency medical personnel as needed.
- Effectively use proper radio protocols to communicate with leads management and other site officials and staff.
- Must be familiar with and adhere to Use of Force statutes and regulations.
- Follow all Code 4 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Additional duties may be assigned and functions may be modified based on business needs.
- Must be 21 or older.
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- Valid Driver License.
- Denver Security Guard License Armed Endorsement
- Duty Belt
- Approved Handgun 9mm 40 S&W or 45 ACP)
- Duty Holster (Level II or higher)
- Dual Mag Holster
- Bilingual Spanish and English is a plus.
- Military/First Responder experience is a plus.
- Must possess effective written and oral communication skills.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Must consistently demonstrate emotional control and good judgment in all situations both escalated and complex in nature.
- Work in various environments including elements (heat rain snow).
- Able and willing to stand walk and run as needed.
- Occasionally bend/twist to perform various duties.
- Job site locations vary. Limited public transportation is available. Personal transportation is required.
