Position Summary
The Enterprise Strategy team is responsible for helping steward the development of the companys longterm strategy and associated priorities connecting each business unit to those priorities exploring white space opportunities for growth and connecting the dots across businesses to accelerate existing revenue streams. Our team has a unique opportunity to sit on the cutting edge of CVS Healths future aspirations and enable our future strategy specifically in pharmacy. We connect business units to our priorities both accelerating existing revenue streams and exploring net new areas of growth.
The Lead Director Enterprise Strategy will play a pivotal role to supporting new growth initiatives and enabling of key strategic priorities. You will operate within a nimble team dedicated to top priority strategic initiatives with executive leadership visibility. You will closely partner with business stakeholders across our core pharmacy businesses. This role requires comfort in working with ambiguity as our team strives to create simplicity within complex crossfunctional strategic challenges. You will utilize market insights alongside CVSfocused expertise to help chart the path forward for a vertically integrated health care company.
The Enterprise Strategy team is looking for a dynamic and creative team member who is passionate about driving change across the healthcare industry and improving health outcomes. Required Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in a dynamic fastmoving profession; related experience within management consulting corporate development financial analysis public policy product development mergers and acquisitions or similar role(s)
- Expertise in storyboarding and logically framing presentations both in written deliverables and in facilitating live discussions
- Executive presence: demonstrated ability to actively listen empathize and communicate effectively
- Comfort in ambiguity; demonstrated ability to simplify complex problems and concepts
- Comfort working in a matrixed environment and in managing competing priorities; demonstrated ability to juggle concurrent projects and prioritize effectively
- Ability to manage up influencing internal and external partners often more senior in job title
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of payor provider and product segments of the healthcare and pharmacy industry
- Growth mindset and commitment to deepening expertise across the healthcare industry
- Demonstrated ability developing analysis presentations and supporting material to successfully implement strategy or change management initiatives
- Experience building and evaluating financial models
Education
- BA/BS degree required
- MBA preferred
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$100000.00 $231540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual fulltime salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience education geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus commission or shortterm incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the companys equity award program.
