Job Description

Hourly Wage: $19.50 $21.25

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand mechanical equipment and shows genuine interest in learning the production process.
  • Understand how the sheeter and sheet stacker operate.
  • Understand Treated Paper quality criteria.
  • Understand the CutToMark Camera System on PT1.
  • Spot and address product defects accurately and with a safe sense of urgency.
  • Assure testing procedures are being followed.
  • Account for wastepaper and finished product.
  • Perform pallet preparation stacking other duties.
  • Enter information into the SAP system for production tracking.
  • Perform quality data record keeping via the Paper Treater Database.
  • Perform downtime recording via the WinCC system.
  • Execute the steps required to fulfill the Dry End Shutdown/Cleanup checklist during end of week shutdowns.
  • Housekeeping: Continual Focus to maintain a clean and safe environment (sweeping dust removal washdowns and general cleaning).

Safety:

  • Promote excellent housekeeping.
  • Display proactive awareness for at risk behavior and conditions.
  • Follow all company rules and regulations.
  • Support safety related initiatives.

Quality:

  • Assist with the NonConforming product handling process.
  • Perform routine testing to compare with specifications and provide appropriate feedback and recordkeeping.
  • Understand and respond to outofcontrol and outofspecification tolerance data points.
  • Inspect pallets for proper labeling.

Productivity:

  • Assist Operators to adjust process settings to maintain Product Specifications.
  • Assist in executing test trials. Provide samples as required by test plan.
  • Assist in changeovers to meet time goals.
  • Become proficient with Share Point SAP Warehouse Manager WinCC and Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook software.
  • Ensure production paperwork and data entries are 100 accurate.

Human Relations:

  • Regular and consistent attendance is required.
  • Maintain accessibility throughout the shift.

Professional Experience:

  • Two or more years in a manufacturing role or its educational equivalence desired

Education and specialized skills profile:

  • High school diploma/GED or College Degree is Preferred
  • Strong skill set in the use of Office suite (Word PowerPoint Excel etc.
  • Capable of Basic Computer Operating with Outlook SAP WinCC and work with other software/equipment

Environment and Behavioral profile:

  • Candidate will be exposed to loud noise that may exceed 87 decibels.
  • Candidate must be able to complete task under extreme hot climate temperatures internally on the shopfloor which can exceed 110 degrees F.
  • Candidate must have the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment

Linguistic Profile:

  • The PT Department embraces the diversity of languages but most if not all communication verbally and written is preferred in English to successfully complete the appropriate scope of work.

Mobility and Physical Requirement profile:

  • Work location is Barnwell. This job operates in a manufacturing environment.
  • Be expected to stand for a full shift. Employee will be required to perform climbing stairs walking squatting kneeling or driving lift truck duties at variable frequency.
  • There is occasional lifting that may require handling of components which can weigh up to 50 lbs.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit and walk and talk or hear; and use hands to finger handle or operate objects tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee must occasionally climb or balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee will regularly operate HMI communicate by talking on radio and walk constantly throughout 12 hours shift.
  • This is a fulltime position that works 12 hours shift rotation 6:45 to 7:00 days and nights.

  • (KT FUB Maintenance Production Planning Research & Development and Sales Representative.
    External Vendors Suppliers Service Contractors and other Krono Swiss Plants.
