A dynamic Senior Developer position is available a 12month fixedterm position.
Based at the Melbourne CBD campus Hybrid role) and Flexible Working Arrangements
Exciting opportunity for a motivated Developer interested in using technical knowledge to build solutions/applications that solve business problems.
About the Portfolio
The Operations Portfolio enables an integrated enterprisewide delivery for best practice student and staff experiences.
The Portfolio incorporates the following business units: Enterprise Projects and Business Performance (EPBP) Communications Experience People Information and Technology Services (ITS) Office of the Chief Operating Officer Procurement and Property Services Group (PSG) and Vietnam Operations.
The Portfolio houses significant drivers and delivery components across the staff and student journeys and enables the overall experience for both groups. The Portfolio is integral in bringing the RMIT strategy to life across the globe. Each of these functions supports the global operations of the University both directly as well as through its controlled entities.
The Experience functions vision is to bring to life RMITs strategy by putting the student and all of RMITs audiences at the heart of everything that we do and delivering a CX vision and insights to help guide the University deliver on our promise. The function is responsible for Global Marketing and our Brand Digital and CX Student Recruitment and Admissions Market Intelligence and Propositions (product and pricing strategy) Alumni and Engagement and University Lifecycle Technology. The 300 Experience team who are based across Australia Vietnam India and several other hubs strive to deliver amazing experiences for all of our audiences through contemporary ways of working.
The Salesforce Senior Developer will be focused on the design and development of the Salesforce ecosystem solutions and aligning with best practices. Your expertise in Salesforce development Apex programming and understanding of CRM solutions will be instrumental in creating efficient and effective Salesforce applications. RMITs Salesforce ecosystem has a broad footprint that encompasses sales service experience eCommerce marketing cloud and education cloud (which will soon be implemented).
As a Salesforce Senior Developer you will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams playing a critical role in all aspects of Salesforce development from customization and configuration to rigorous testing and successful deployment ensuring our Salesforce solutions enhance our business processes and customer relationships.
Skills & Experience
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively to manage the endtoend resolution process for assigned tasks through indepth analysis review and application of expert knowledge.
Proficiency in Apex programming language and a solid understanding of Salesforces cloud architecture. Handson experience with Salesforce Lightning components and a strong grasp of Salesforces Lightning Design System for UI/UX.
Proven expertise in Salesforce development with a strong portfolio showcasing customized solutions and integrations. Familiarity with Salesforce APIs such as REST SOAP and Bulk APIs to integrate Salesforce with other platforms. Application development including basic Visualforce pages/Lightning pages Lightning Web Components.
Skill in data modelling and working with standard and custom Salesforce objects ensuring optimized performance and data integrity.
Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks work accurately with attention to detail and meet deadlines.
