Job Description

Position Overview:The Multilingual Teacher will be responsible for providing instruction in multiple languages supporting students language development and fostering an appreciation for cultural diversity. This role involves working with students from various linguistic backgrounds to develop their proficiency in English and/or additional languages depending on their needs and curriculum Responsibilities:Deliver engaging and effective instruction in list specific languages e.g. English Spanish French MandarinSupport English Language Learners (ELLs) with targeted language instruction and academic integrationDesign and implement lessons that accommodate a variety of learning styles and linguistic levelsCollaborate with classroom teachers to support multilingual students in mainstream subjectsAssess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordinglyPromote a classroom environment that values linguistic and cultural diversityCommunicate regularly with families regarding student progress and language developmentParticipate in professional development related to multilingual education and culturally responsive teaching
