12Role Overview:
This role provides leadership and direction to meet revenue performance requirements for the Technology segment within the Data & Research Corporates business in North America. Adapts and executes functional strategies and contributes to the development of broader strategies. Has a significant impact on business unit results. Hire train and manage a group of sales specialists whose primary responsibilities include pipeline generation deal management skills and a close collaboration with business partners to both new and existing customers. Responsibilities include assessing customer needs protecting S&Ps commercial interests and suggesting appropriate products services and/or solutions as well as developing and delivering sales bids/proposals/presentations. The position also involves developing medium to longterm sales plans and preparing strategies to protect grow and diversify relationships with targeted customers. Compensation is based on the achievement of sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth through sales to Technology companies and establishing new channel partnerships that bring revenue to other parts of the organization.
Provide leadership to a team responsible for Data & Research solutions to the Technology segment ensuring optimal client solutions and engagement.
Lead the entire deal cycle from pipeline generation through negotiating deal close to achieve sales targets.
Collaborate with internal business stakeholders to ensure each sale and partnership is aligned with S&Ps commercial interests.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new commercial opportunities.
Offer strategic insights and act as a thought partner to address complex business challenges faced by clients.
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $102k $160kk. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individuals geographic location as well as experience level skill set training licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan or commission plan.

10 years of experience in Sales and Leadership roles.
