This unique and handson Special Counsel role offers high visibility with executive leadership providing expert legal advice and leading the legal response for various highprofile projects.

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional with a strong background in commercial disputes an exceptional ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and a proven track record of managing highvalue matters to optimal outcomes.

What Youll Do

  • Provide expert pragmatic legal advice on complex commercial disputes
  • Act as the primary legal contact for highprofile commercial dispute projects
  • Partner with senior business leaders to simplify complex legal matters and deliver commercially sound solutions
  • Proactively identify opportunities to mitigate legal risks and enhance outcomes on disputerelated projects
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the legal team
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders ensuring efficient and effective resolution of disputes

What Youll Bring

  • Law degree and current Australian Practising Certificate (mandatory)
  • 15 years PQE in litigation and commercial disputes
  • Proven ability to resolve complex disputes on optimal terms in highpressure environments
  • Exceptional advocacy contractual interpretation and regulatory expertise
  • Ability to provide clear concise advice to senior stakeholders including Csuite executives
  • Strong strategic thinking problemsolving and agility under tight timeframes
