Senspex in Rio Rancho New Mexico is seeking to hire an Electronics Maintenance Technician I (VRST) for our team at the NTC in Ft Irwin CA!
This position begins July 1 2025.
A successful candidate will support the Warfighter Training Readiness Solutions (WTRS) program at the NTC Fort Irwin. This program brings to bear the full capabilities of many of the worlds best systems integration and engineering companies in the technical integration of live virtual and constructive (LVC) training support. The National Training Center (NTC) is located at Fort Irwin CA in the Mojave Desert approximately forty miles northeast of Barstow CA.

What youll get to do as a Electronics Maintenance Technician I at Senspex:
- Apply technical knowledge of electronic principals to diagnose malfunctions and repair electrical electronic video audio and computer system equipment
- Perform functional checks diagnostics on circuits using test equipment and repairs on cabling circuit boards as well as reading schematics to ensure proper connectivity
- Perform complete setup & initial testing as well as monthly/semiannual/annual Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS)
- Monitor assigned equipment record status and correct malfunctions in a timely manner
- Perform soldering operations to fabricate intricate microelectronic and electronic assemblies if required

The qualifications we require:
- 0 years BA/BS degree or 4 years AA degree or 6 years no degree
- Experience working with electronics performing functional checks with diagnostics on circuits using test equipment repairing cabling circuit boards and reading schematics to ensure proper connectivity
- Background in basic electricity and hydraulics woodworking mechanical apparatus military equipment and/or wireless WAN networking procedures
- Requires the ability to operate and speak clearly over military handheld radios and telephones.
- Operate a fourwheeled drive vehicle up to one ton in offroad conditions
- Works well with others on a team and has strong communication skills and a customerservice attitude.
- Current State Drivers License required; must be able to be insured through companys vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours and for the duration of employment
- Currently possess a DoD Secret Clearance; or other equivalent U. S. Government Security Clearance
- Must have experience or be certified in soldering techniques
- Must be available for any potential surges in other locations outside of the NTC

- National security clearance: This position may require obtaining a U.S. DoD security clearance. Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance in order to work on projects/programs
